Subject: That time again - LTE Enrichment Day - April 16

On Friday, April 16, 2010, Liberty Tree Elementary in Powell will be hosting its Third Annual Enrichment Day.  The essence of the Enrichment Day program is to offer a variety of hands-on classes to students in grades one through five Your organization participated last year and we are hoping you are willing to donate your time and talents again this year.

As was the case last year, students will receive a list of classes to be offered a few weeks before Enrichment Day.  Each student will select three classes in which he or she is interested in, and will then register for the classes.  There will be a wide variety of subjects to choose from.  Among the many topics will be dance, meteorology, photography, pottery, baseball, cooking, veterinary medicine and hockey.

Enrichment Day will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Liberty Tree Elementary.  Classes will consist of no more than 25 students per class.  Instructors will teach anywhere from one to three 45 minute classes.  An exact head count and number of classes to be conducted on each topic will be determined by registration.  All instructors will be given advance information regarding enrollment.  Note, there will be a volunteer and a teacher in each class to assist you in any way.

Instructors and/or businesses will be listed in the class selection program that will be sent home to more than 600 students’ parents.  In addition, your business will be able to hand out information and brochures on Enrichment Day.  This is a great way to advertise.

We would truly appreciate your continued support of this worthwhile program.  Please let me know if you have any questions, I can be reached by phone or e-mail.  Thank you.
